Wisconsin Works (W-2)

W-2 is a Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program that provides employment preparation services, case management, and cash assistance to eligible families. Specifically, low-income parents, pregnant women, and children.

W-2 provides:

  • Help finding a job
  • Work experience, through supervised worksites
  • Vocational education and training
  • Case management services
  • Emergency Assistance
  • Refugee Assistance
  • Assistance applying for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) / Social Security Disability Insurance
  • Employer Services

Through this program, our case managers build upon the unique strengths of the clients, address weakness, and build towards a successful future for their families. While empowering individuals with the economic stability provided by a job, local businesses fill vacancies, and the local community is strengthened.
