Child Development
UMOS offers education services that meet the specific needs of Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker families and facilitate school readiness, enabling parents to focus on earning a good living to support their families while fostering a healthy learning environment for children. These services are responsive and appropriate to each child’s and each family’s development, culture, linguistic heritage, and experience.
Social Services
UMOS Social Services are holistic, wrap-around programs that work to ensure clients and customers feel safe and secure, healthy and housed, warm, welcomed, and thriving. These programs include home energy assistance, food pantry, transitional and seasonal housing, adult education classes, support services for survivors of human trafficking, domestic violence, and sexual assault, as well as STD and opioid harm reduction programs.
Workforce Development
UMOS is committed to developing and advancing our nation’s workforce through substantial employer engagement, deep community connections, career advancement, human service supports, industry-driven education, and training.
These programs build the workforce of Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin, by building up the capabilities and livelihoods of individuals and families.
