2026 Mexican Independence Parade & Festival

Join UMOS for the 2026 Mexican Independence Parade & Festival as we celebrate this year’s theme, Roots & Culture – Raíces y Cultura.
The annual event brings the community together to celebrate Mexican heritage and culture through a vibrant parade, live entertainment, family activities, food, music and community engagement.
Parade
Assembly: 9-10:30 a.m.
Parade begins: 11 a.m.
Assembly location:
2200 W. Kinnickinnic River Parkway
Milwaukee, WI
Parade route:
The parade begins at E. Oklahoma Ave. and travels east to S. 6th St., then continues to W. Rosedale Ave., ending at UMOS, 2701 S. Chase Ave.
Festival
12:30-8 p.m.
