UMOS Experience Operating One-Stop Job Centers and Employment Programs

Job Center South is located on Milwaukee's near south side community. The south side community is very diverse, rich with Hispanic and Asian culture. In addition, many of the residents who utilize Job Center services speak primarily Spanish or Hmong/Laotian. For the convenience of these customers, UMOS Job Center South provides bilingual services, including written materials in Spanish and Hmong, and bilingual case management, employment services, and supportive services. UMOS has many bilingual staff, fluent in a variety of languages, in addition to Spanish and Hmong.
