UMOS held its Annual Cinco de Mayo SpringFest at UMOS Center (2701 S. Chase Avenue). Mexican music, food, entertainment, carnival rides were enjoyed by all.

UMOS will celebrate it's 45th anniversary with " A Reunion to Remember II" on July 16th, 2010 at the Pfister Hotel.

UMOS will host its annual corporation banquet July 16th at the Pfister Hotel. UMOS staff, board of directors, friends and supporters from the corporate and nonprofit community will attend. UMOS will also recognize the Employee of the Year, Corporate Citizen of the Year and the Sponsor of the Year

One of the proudest moments in Mexican history occurred late on the night of September 15, 1810 when Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla demanded that Mexicans should govern Mexico.

Each year in December, UMOS, in conjunction with McDonald's Restaurants, sponsors Breakfast with Santa at its south side Milwaukee location. Children and their parents enjoy a McDonald's pancake breakfast, visit Santa Claus, and receive a holiday gift. In 2009, the Annual Breakfast with Santa supplied 2,700 gifts and almost 6,000 pancake breakfasts for Milwaukee residents.

In 2008 UMOS distributed backpacks with school supplies to over 1,300 kids at both job center locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This was the eighth consecutive year for the event. For more information on UMOS special events call 414-389-6000.

The UMOS Hispanic Awards Banquet is an annual event honoring the contributions of Wisconsin Hispanics to their communities.
