SSI/SSDI Advocacy Agency

Created in January, 2006, the SSI/SSDI (Supplemental Security Income/Social Security Disability Insurance) Advocacy Agency is an innovative effort to address the unique needs of W-2 clients who have physical and/or mental health barriers to full-time, gainful employment.

In addition to the full array of W-2 support services and benefits, the SSIA Agency provides support and advocacy for clients to apply for, prepare appeals of denial, and secure SSI or SSDI benefits as a means to economic stability in their lives.

This pilot program is exclusive to Milwaukee County W-2 clients who are considered adults with a disability under Social Security Administration standards. For more information call 414-389-6000.
