Who are we?
UMOS is a well-established 501(c)3 organization founded in 1965 to improve the lives of underserved populations through education, housing, workforce development, legal and social services. There is no question that UMOS has extensive knowledge of, and experience with, managing a variety of government and privately funded programs. Currently, UMOS administers approximately 50 contracts at any given time with federal, state, and local agencies and foundations. Through the years, the agency has been able to refine its grants administration practices by applying methodical systems for sound fiscal management, program design/implementation, quality assurance, information technology (IT), and resource development. As a result, UMOS is able to share its expertise and effective practices with other nonprofit, service-oriented organizations to help them enhance service delivery and improve program management and operation.
