In 2008 UMOS distributed backpacks with school supplies to over 1,300 kids at both job center locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

United Migrant Opportunity Services (UMOS) Food Pantry, 2701 S. Chase Ave.  Mondays 8:00 a.m.--5:00 p.m. and Tuesdays/Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.--4:00 p.m.

UMOS created its low cost immigration services program to provide affordable legal services to the migrant and seasonal farm worker population in Wisconsin.

The UMOS housing department began in response to the chronic need experienced by migrant workers coming to Wisconsin.

UMOS provided culturally competent, family centered, confidential bi-lingual case management services.

UMOS provides basic education to academically and economically disadvantaged adults and youth who desire to progress through life by improving their basic education level. Improved education enhances employment opportunities.

Each year in December, UMOS, in conjunction with McDonald's Restaurants, sponsors Breakfast with Santa at its south side Milwaukee location.
