Holistic Approach

The UMOS philosophy is one of pragmatic optimism; that staff efforts, parental support and feedback, as well as community input and coordination can be blended to achieve a model program. UMOS management and staff believe that every child can and will succeed when given the opportunity.

Program services include various options ranging from center-based, family care to childcare partnerships for children ages six weeks to 12 years of age. Service hours extend beyond the traditional operation of eight hours to a maximum of 12 hours per day. This year, UMOS served 961 children through its migrant programs.
